ADOPTION GUIDELINES (Do not copy/paste. Please read):

By applying for one of our animals, you agree to the following as part of the application process:

  1. Provide truthful and accurate information, provide most up to date information regarding current animals, past animals, and living situations.

  2. Understand that mammals and reptiles may require veterinary care; such as: wellness exams, preventative care/illness/injuries, dental issues etc. They can be both a financial and emotional commitment, just like a dog or cat.

  3. Once approved for a specific animal, you must submit images/videos of what type of housing/husbandry you will provide for your new companion animal before you are fully approved for a new scaly/furry friend. If you need housing/husbandry/diet recommendations, please ask!

  4. Understand that Wild Exotics Animal Rescue is not liable for any damages/financial responsibility once a pet is adopted. If you must rehome your adopted animal for any reason, the rescue should be notified, and we will be more than willing to take the animal back if you find yourself no longer to care for them.

  5. Agree that your adopted companion will be kept INDOORS only and will not be left alone, outside of the enclosure, unsupervised.

  6. An adoption contribution will be suggested at the time of adoption. This amount is dependent on the species of animal you are adopting and the medical treatment that was performed while the animal was in rescue.

  7. Wild Exotics Animal Rescue has the right to refuse any adoptions that we do not see fit. We strive to do the best thing by the animals, including finding the best fitting adopters.
